RT9711A / B / C / D 為高性價比、低電壓、單 N-MOSFET 的高側電源開關，適用於自供電 (self-powered) 和匯流排供電 (bus- powered) 的串列匯流排 (USB) 應用。RT9711 系列都配備了電荷泵電路來驅動內部 MOSFET 開關。開關的 80mΩ 低 RDS(ON) 符合 USB 壓降要求。具有一個輸出指示信號來表示錯誤狀況給 USB 控制器。其它特點包括插入時的軟啟動，用來限制湧入電流、過熱關斷，用來防止開關因高電流負載造成的嚴重失效、欠壓鎖定 (UVLO)，確保有有效的輸入電壓出現前，IC 保持關機、雙埠 (RT9711A/B) 的故障電流限制在 2.5A (典型值)，單埠 (RT9711C/D) 限制在 1A，符合 USB 的電源要求、25μA 低靜態電流使該元件非常適用於可攜式電池供電的設備。RT9711 系列提供 SOT-23-5、TSOT- 23-5、SOP -8 和 MSOP -8 適用於不同板子的應用。
